- Documents are shared digitally—no folders, no drop-offs.
- You can handle your bookkeeping from anywhere, anytime.
We believe managing your finances shouldn’t disrupt your day—it should simplify it.

Shawna Armstrong
Owner & Lead Bookkeeper
Shawna Armstrong
Shawna Armstrong is the founder of Lazy Day Bookkeeping, a virtual firm based in the heart of Shedd, Oregon. With an associate degree in accounting and certifications in cloud-based bookkeeping solutions, Shawna offers expert support tailored to small business owners who want clarity and confidence in their finances.
She launched Lazy Day Bookkeeping to give fellow entrepreneurs the freedom to focus on what they do best—while she handles the books with precision, transparency, and care. Clients know her not just for clean reconciliations and timely reports, but for being responsive, reliable, and genuinely invested in their success.
When Shawna isn’t organizing financial chaos, she’s out adventuring with her husband in their Can-Am side-by-side, reading or rebinding books by hand, or tending to her small goat dairy—where the milk is raw, whole, and always local. Her life reflects the same values she brings to her business: rooted in integrity and fueled by passion.

Why You Should Hire an Outside Bookkeeper
-
Save Money!
It's less expensive to hire an outside bookkeeper than another employee. The reason is that you only pay for the actual time the bookkeeper is working on your books, and you don't pay employment taxes on an outsourced bookkeeper. Plus, you no longer need to worry about expensive complicated software, we have you covered!
-
Balance the Scales!
Many entrepreneurs struggle to do their own books, risking errors and wasting valuable time that could be spent generating sales. An experienced bookkeeper, like Lazy Day Bookkeeping, stays current with the latest software and tax information to ensure accuracy. By delegating your bookkeeping, you can balance the scales and focus on growing your business, knowing that a professional is managing your financial records efficiently. If you prefer to handle certain tasks yourself, we can assist with the parts you find less enjoyable, helping you manage your books more effectively.
-
Focus on Your Dream!
Hiring a bookkeeper sounds expensive but it's more cost-effective than doing the books yourself. Why? Because you make more money focusing on what you do best. Free up your billable hours and increase your sales! Don't let the books drag you down.
